The Center for Family Solutions is a nonprofit organization that serves the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. It operates the WomanHaven Shelter, which offers educational and training programs, parenting classes and job skill development workshops, as well as counseling and legal services. The shelter also offers a reading program in English and Spanish for children. The Center for Family Solutions also operates the Center Against Domestic Violence, which provides food, clothing and household establishment assistance. The center additionally offers referrals to social services, peer counseling groups, support services and aftercare programs. In addition, the organization conducts anger management classes for men and women who are batterers of their spouses and children and wants to improve their communication skills. The Center for Family Solutions is located in El Centro, Calif.
