Established in 1997, Compadre High School is an alternative education institution that serves students who are behind credits and school dropouts. The school has an enrollment of more than 435 students. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and business education. Compadre High School administers a transition program, as well as provides transportation and guidance counseling services. It also offers adult education, online learning, Head Start child care, and teen aged pregnancy and parenting programs. The school is equipped with security cameras and provides nursing solutions. Compadre High School maintains a library and student council, as well as offers dance activities. It is a part of Tempe Union High School District 213.
