Located in Tucson, Ariz., the Carondelet Health Network is one of the oldest and largest nonprofit health care providers. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the organization provides community education; free immunization clinics for children; health screenings; and community spiritual care and outreach services for the poor and vulnerable population in the community. The Carondelet Health Network regularly collaborates with community organizations as the American Heart Association and other nonprofit organizations to increase awareness in the community about health-related matters. The organization has a staff of more than 4,700 employees and nearly 1,200 physicians and professionals. The Carondelet Health Network operates several hospitals and facilities, including 400-plus-bed Carondelet St. Mary s Hospital, 300-plus-bed Carondelet St. Joseph s Hospital and 60-plus-bed Tucson Heart Hospital.
