HistoryFor over 10 years we have been building custom furniture out of a variety of woods and other materials. A degree in art and a childhood spent in an antique restoration shop got Fred interested in artistic furnishings at an early age. Fred and Heather teamed up at Clemson University and decided to bring their business out to Arizona in 1999.SpecialtiesAt Heather and Fred Studios we build fine custom furniture for homeowners and interior designers across the valley. We design and build a wide variety of pieces, from single, free-standing pieces like side tables and coffee tables, to bathroom vanities, entertainment units and bedroom sets. We work with solid woods, plywood and veneers to create beautiful pieces of furniture for our customers. We have metal working capabilities as well as experience with plexiglas and other plastics. All of our finishes are water-based which means better indoor air quality and is better for the environment.
