Arizona School for the Arts, also known as ASA, is a nonprofit college preparatory and performing arts charter school that serves more than 350 students in grades 6 through 12. The school has been serving the educational needs of students since 1995. It offers classes in music, English, French, Spanish, biology, physics, chemistry, art, physical education, social studies and math. Arizona School for the Arts also conducts classes in ballet, band, guitar, drama, piano and strings. It operates a parent-volunteer organization that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs. The school provides students membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. It encourages students to participate in various competitions, including Prix de Lausanne, Phoenix Symphony Guild Grand Prize and Phoenix Young Artist. Arizona School for the Arts is located in Phoenix.
