The Division of Aging and Adult Services provides information and services related to adult protection, benefit counseling, long-term care, legal assistance, and home and community living support programs to senior citizens in Arizona. It coordinates with various area agencies that serve as advocates for senior citizens. The organization operates various senior centers that provide education, information, referrals and activities, as well as home-delivered and group meals. Its long-term care program provides advocacy for residents of long-term care and assisted living facilities. In addition, the Division of Aging and Adult Services assists senior citizens with obtaining community resources, respite care, counseling, training, and supplemental and support group services. It also accepts and evaluates reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of adults. The Division of Aging and Adult Services is located in Phoenix.
