History
Dr. Magda Massicotte graduated from Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and has been practicing since then. In 2014, she completed her Veterinary Acupuncture Training and Certification with IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) in 2014. She then founded Acupuncture for Pets in Arizona with the desire to offer alternative therapeutic options to pet owners who are seeking a more holistic approach towards healing. While practicing conventional medicine, she realized that at times there is just not enough tools in the western toolbox to help her patients. This is why after several years of practice, she developed an interest towards alternative therapeutic options. A holistic medical approach takes into account the whole pet in its environment, not just the symptoms. By doing so, the animal receives a treatment that targets the root cause of the problem and helps regaining a more balanced lifestyle, diet and health.
