History
I began practicing full time at a federally funded rural health clinic in Laytonville, Ca in 1999. In 2003 I established my practice at the Integrative Medical Clinic of Santa Rosa and practiced there until 2007 at which time my family and I went to live abroad in southern India. We returned to the USA in 2010 and I practiced in southeastern Washington until the end of 2012 at which time we decided to return to our old home in Northern California. I opened Stillness Healing near downtown Santa Rosa in May of 2013.
Specialties
Subtle non-invasive style of Japanese acupuncture integrated with biodynamic cranial sacral and a Japanese structural work called Sotai-ho. Rather than the intention to fix problems and symptoms, the essence of this medicine calls upon what is essentially right within each and everyone of us and makes that the central pivot upon which healing takes place. This is ideal for stress related issues, digestive problems, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, headaches, migraines, etc. We live in a day and age where the primary cause of most of our suffering is due the adverse effects of daily living stressors on our entire body/mind system. When the system is harmonized and brought back into a state of relative balance, then the cause has been addressed and most often the symptom will respond. If you have any questions about this type of work, and/or to see if it is a good fit for you, please contact me via my website so that we can set up a consultation.
