The Salvation Army's Clitheroe Center is one of the largest substance abuse treatment facilities that offer treatment services to individuals and families who are addicted with alcohol and other drugs. Its residential services for men and women include a dual-diagnosis treatment program for individuals with mental health issues and assessments. The center provides outpatient services that include counseling and support for those who have completed inpatient treatment. The Salvation Army's Clitheroe Center operates an Enhanced Detoxification Unit, which provides detox and mental health services to individuals who are in danger of psychiatric distress. In addition the unit offers motivational counseling services and serves meals and snacks. The center is located in Anchorage, Alaska.
