HistoryThe owner Captain Anthony Knuteson was born and raised in Ketchikan Alaska. At age 23 he started Aurora Sportfishing. Aurora Sportfishing has employed Captains/Fishing Guides from as far as Florida Keys. Aurora Sportfishing has operated as many as 4 charter boats in the summer season. Starting in 2014 he chose to operate only 1 charter boat with no employees, 1 man 1 boat. Aurora Sportfishing's boats are large 35' boats with seating for 6 fisherman. While in the beginning all business came from Norwegian and Princess Cruise lines contracts. Aurora Sportfishing is now a private charter company specializing in private charters for all cruise passengers and multi day groups alike.SpecialtiesKetchikan Alaska fishing charters.
