The Juneau Raptor Center (JRC) is a volunteer, non-profit organization that has been serving Southeast Alaska since 1987. They provide medical care to over 150 sick and injured raptors and other birds annually, while also delivering educational programs to local and regional groups, teaching audiences of all ages about conservation.
Taku Fisheries, a generous supporter of JRC, donates pink salmon that allows them to feed their education birds and any rescued raptors throughout the year. With a total of 162 birds cared for in 2021, JRC continues to make a difference in the lives of Alaska's raptors and promote environmental preservation.
