History
This used to be a boy scout camp many years ago but was abandoned about 20 years. Chris Marshall bought the land and sat on it for another few years until his sister, Shelly Marshall decided to get it going again. The whole family worked together to get the camp in shape, add showers and electricity but they wanted it to stay small with that family friendly welcome to all.
Specialties
We're a small family run campground and hostel nestled in the trees but are missing one thing you'll find elsewhere, high prices. We stick to basic camping the way it is meant to be in Alaska and keep our prices down but quality up. You'll love our huge fire pit for storytelling and marshmallow roasts. We also have an arctic tent in the back with 2 bunks and beds are $12 each. Located beside 40 mile air, you'll find we have the lowest prices in the area.
