Tesoro Alaska is an oil refinery located in Kenai, Alaska. The company supplies a variety of products, such as gasoline, marine diesel fuels, propane and asphalt. It also produces various jet and diesel fuels, as well as heating and heavy fuel oils. Founded in 1969, Tesoro Alaska s Kenai refinery processes up to approximately 72,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The refinery also supplies ultra-low sulfur gasoline and diesel. The company operates more than 30 company-owned 2Go Tesoro retail stores throughout Alaska. It has helped develop Geographic Response Strategies in Alaska, including Prince William Sound, Central Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay. Tesoro Alaska is a part of Tesoro Corporation, which is an independent refiner and marketer of petroleum products.
