The Athens-Limestone County Tourists Association is housed in the Athens Visitors Center. The Athens Visitors Center is is located at 100 Beaty Street North beside the duck pond at Big Spring Memorial Park. The center has a visitors area, small museum, gift shop and meeting room that is available for rent. A staff is available Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM to answer questions, assist visitors in locating events, attractions, hotels/motels, restaurants, shopping and other items of interest.Currently the museum has the Delmore Brothers exhibit on display. We also offer two local artists works on display as well.The gift shop has Civil War Prints, caps, t-shirts, handmade guilts, handmade purses, Christmas ornaments, Christmas Cards, Post Cards, BBQ Sauce, DVDs, CDs, and much more for sale. Drop by and see what beautiful items we have for sale.We offer a small meeting room for corporate meetings, weddings, parties, concerts and other events.
