Dr. Sibia obtained his medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. After residency, Dr. Sibia completed a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Providence Saint John’s Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California. In addition to his medical training, he also earned his MBA from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Sibia is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). In addition, Dr. Sibia currently serves as an assistant professor at UAB Hospital.
