Through this division, the company provides full sales, parts and service support in Alabama, northwest Florida and southeastern Mississippi. Thompson is one of the largest Caterpillar lift truck dealers in the nation. The company carries the full Caterpillar product line including the American made Towmotor line. It provides equipment throughout Alabama, northwest Florida and most of Georgia. Thompson also offers the Mitsubishi line of forklift trucks in Alabama and northwest Florida. Along with the company s line of allied equipment, it can service all makes of lift trucks. Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., Thompson Tractor Company was founded in 1957.
