History
The Ark was founded by pet parents searching for a safe, loving home away from home for their beloved pets. Unable to find a clean and fun place for their pets to stay, Jay Floyd and his family decided to build their own pet boarding facility to help not only his own family but countless other families facing the same dilemma. In 2006, Jay opened the very first Ark Pet Spa & Hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Since then, the Ark offers daycare, boarding and grooming services to pet owners throughout East Tennesse, North Georgia, and North Alabama.
