Pleasant Valley High School enrolls students in grades seven through 12. The school provides educational services to more than 700 students. It provides psychology, Bible, English, math, science, social science, physical education, and fine and language arts classes. The school has a staff of a bookkeeper, nurse, librarian and assistants. Pleasant Valley High School offers opportunities to participate in sports activities, such as football and baseball. It has a library and media center that includes a range of books, magazines and periodicals. Located in Jacksonville, Ala., Pleasant Valley High School is governed by Calhoun County Schools, which also operates an elementary and high school.
