Wallace State Community College, based in Hanceville, Ala., offers various technical and vocational courses in adult basic education, and continuing and distance education. The college provides a wide range of degree programs, including home furnishings and equipment installation, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, law enforcement and police science, medical radiologic technology, and institutional food services administration. It also provides courses in nursing, occupational therapy, upholstery, cosmetology, general studies, welding technology, agricultural production workers and management, child care and guidance workers and management, and dental hygiene. Wallace State Community College offers several athletics programs, including baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball and golf.
