Long's Electronics began selling audio cassettes in 1969, in Birmingham, Alabama. Most of the first customers were churches using the cassettes to record Sunday services. Copies were made and sent out to shut-ins unable to attend. More and more products became available as the entire audio/visual electronics industry evolved from audio cassettes, to video cassettes, to home computers, to satellite television delivery systems. Today, Long's specializes in electronic products and accessories for the religious, educational, institutional, training, and government markets. The staff is trained and knowledgeable in the products that are sold. Customer Service representatives are available at a toll-free number to answer questions regarding products or services. Orders are filled and shipped from the 120,000 square foot Irondale, Alabama, facility. Long's Electronics believes that if we do not provide service after the sale, we are not needed before the sale.
