With an emphasis on hand weaving, Clara's loom offers shawls, scarves, small functional woven items, ornaments and framed art for the wall by Celia Dionne. There is a Fashion Bib class, a tapestry necklace class and a 3 day Triangle Shawl Workshop.HistoryI asked if I could demonstrate spinning in a friend's bakery and she invited me to weave, spin and sell there and she urged me to become my own business in Franklin, TN. After a move to Alabama I began doing fine art and craft shows. Upon my husband's retirement we settled in Lower Alabama and I opened Clara's Loom within tsunami distance of the beach at Gulf Shores.
