History
I was introduced to piano tuning and repair in 1979 by Graham Ingersol. ( Craftsman member, PTG. ) He recommended the Perkins School of Piano Tuning and Technology so I attended and graduated in 1980 and by 1982 I was a craftsman member of the PTG. I was a concert tuner for Yamaha in Southern Wisconsin and tuned for James Taylor at Alpine Valley as well as Narada artists performing at the Pabst theater in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I was piano technician for the Wisconsin Conservatory of music and in addition to tuning for all the faculty concerts I maintained 35 pianos in 3 different locations. I like pianos. They're cool. In So. Cal. I have worked for Piano City and Ansdel Pianos in addition to rebuilding 22 pianos for private clients. I have tuned for the City of Hope for 18 years and look forward to helping you succeed at playing the piano.
