OUR STORY Amir was established in 1983. The first restaurant was opened in the centre of Montreal, followed by two more in the west of the city and the Rockland Centre, establishing Amir as one of the first franchise operations in Quebec. With a starting philosophy based on family values, over 30 years later this philosophy is still very apparent. Many Amir franchises are owned and operated by families with a desire to grow and succeed together as part of the Amir team. This is clearly a key ingredient for success. Staying true to the original vision of providing authentic Lebanese cuisine, the menu at Amir contains signature Lebanese dishes such as Shish Taouk, Shawarma as Pitas or Plats as well as Garlic Potatoes, Falafel, Fattouche, Hummus and Tabbouleh, but also includes a range of vegetarian options, salads and soups all based on family recipes.
