Burntcoat Head Park is home to the world’s highest recorded tides. Named by visitors as a "must-see" stop in Nova Scotia, discover one of North America's 7 natural wonders and walk on the ocean floor at low tide. The park's lighthouse gift shop and washrooms are open seasonally from mid-May to mid-October. The grounds are not maintained in the off-season and are accessible at your own risk. While the stunning shoreline may draw you in, visitors also appreciate the green space and wooded areas, as well as the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Picnic tables and benches are available throughout the park.
