Tennessee Aquarium, located in Chattanooga, Tenn., is home to more than 12,000 animals, including fish, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, birds and butterflies. The aquarium features amphibians, such as Surinam toad, green tree frog, Reinwardt's gliding frog, fire-bellied toad, northern red salamander, Yonahlossee salamander and hellbender salamander. It also showcases a wide variety of species of fish, including epaulette shark, brown-banded bamboo shark, black stingray, red-bellied piranha, great barracuda and sea horses. It additionally features invertebrates, such as giant pacific octopus, pharaoh cuttlefish, giant spider crab, emperor nautilus, moon jellyfish and West Coast sea nettle.
