The Pantages has a long history in Los Angeles dating back to 1930. It was renovated and had its grand reopening in 2000. This is sometimes called the premiere theatre of LA, housing tours of the country's biggest acts. "Wicked," the hugely popular Broadway show, came here for a six-week run and ended up staying for two years. The massive space has seen the five highest-grossing stage productions in Los Angeles. The box office is open every day at 10am until 30 minutes after the performance begins. The Pantages is co-owned by Broadway/L.A. and the Nederlander Group.
